This is the place where we, the Pircher family, have been carrying on the farming tradition since 2021 under the name “Pircherhof”. As a family-run business, we are inspired by traditional practices and combine them with new approaches. That is why we run our farm according to organic guidelines and are pleased to welcome guests at our farm in Styria since 2022. We are looking forward to meeting you!
The smell of freshly cut hay. The mother cows grazing peacefully with their calves. Absolute tranquillity and a breath-taking view over the rolling green hills all the way to the pilgrimage church of Pöllauberg – that’s how beautiful a farm holiday at the Pircherhof can be.
We will be glad to tell you more about the work on the farm and our animals during a guided tour. Among our cows, sheep, chickens, pigs and rabbis you will not only find the common but also protected breeds of farm animals, such as the Pustertaler Sprinzen cow breed, the Sulmtaler chicken breed and the Carinthian sheep breed.
At Pircherhof we place great importance on sustainability. Our new wood chip plant supplies our farm with heat and hot water. We obtain the wood in an environmentally friendly way and without long transport route from the farm’s own forests. The water on the farm and in the natural pond comes from the farm’s own certified spring.

As a family that has grown up and lived in South Tyrol, we bring to the table, as part of our half-board service, various typical Austrian specialities and Mediterranean flavours, using fresh, seasonal products from our own production or from farms in the region.
Our natural pond in the shape of a pear is one of our guest’s favourite places: harmoniously embedded in the rural surroundings, filled with our own spring water and planted with water lilies and grasses acting as a natural, completely chemical-free filtration system. It is the perfect place for sunbathing, reading a book in the shade, refreshing your feet in the cool water or simply enjoying the clean air and forgetting about time…
